Tonight I’m having Permanent Waves. This is a Mexican Style Lager from Chapman Crafted Beer out in Orange, California. Oscar from The Everything Show sent this one out to me as I have enjoyed the others from Chapman I’ve had from him. Permanent Waves is a classic lager, it has a great pale golden color, nice aroma, wonderful taste and is well balanced. This has a nice smooth finish to it and is everything you’d want a lager to be. I’d much rather have this outside in the summer having a BBQ than in 12 degree Chicago weather in February so I’d imagine this would be a great summer beer! Permanent Waves is listed at 4.8% ABV with 11 IBU’s. I’d grab this one if it was available here in Chicago like I would all their beers! Thanks Oscar!
