Tonight I’m having a great stout from Alarmist in Chicago. The Percolator is an Imperial Coffee Stout and this is a good one! This has a great aroma of the malt and coffee and for me, the sweetness of the malt is stronger. The taste is great, nice balance here with a good coffee aftertaste. The Percolator weighs in at 9% so you get a little boozy taste here but not enough that it overpowers anything else. I really enjoy this one and will pick it up again when i see it.
