Tonight I had Chicago Tavern Beer. This is a lager from Haymarket Beer Company in collaboration with @ChicagoBars

This is a beer flavored beer and it’s terrific. I am enjoying everything about this one. This has a nice pale golden color, good aroma. The taste is spot on! Really good carbonation and finish here as well. I’m not sure what rock I was hiding under, but this is the first time I’ve had this beer. It’s been around for a few years and I picked this up at Binny’s the other day. This was canned on 9/27/21 and like I said, it’s worth checking out. Haymarket has been putting out some great beers since 2010 and @ChicagoBars is always there for the bars and taverns in this great city!

I could see me having a few of these in an old tavern smoking a Pall Mall, talking about today’s Royko column and calling the people who run our sports team Jagoffs. If you see Chicago Tavern Beer around, be sure to give it a try you will not be disappointed!
